SPECIAL NOTES regarding Guard HO policies

  1. Inspection Requirement

    GUARD HOMEOWNERS REQUIRES INSPECTIONS AFTER BINDING

    Please make sure the inspection contact  with first name and last name and the phone number is provided on the binding request.

    If National Inspection company called the insured phone number 2 times and can not make appointment, they will call the broker office to make appointment for inspection. please help to make the inspection appointment. 

    If the inspection appointment can not be accomplished within 30 days, GUARD WILL issue notice of cancellation and will not reinstate the policy. 

    Please watch FOR your daily policy transaction report for NOTICE OF CANCELLATION and go to website PRINTABLE DOCUMENTS to get the copy of Notice of cancellation sent to insured.  this is Your only notification and we do not send you any notice of cancellation any more. 

    PLEASE WATCH VERY CAREFULLY FOR YOUR POLICY TRANSACTION DAILY REPORT emails AND weekly wrap up emails from GUARD.  if you do not receive the email alerts, please notify us right away.

    Once the Notice of cancellation is issued, there will be no coverage after cancellation date unless you have received the reinstatement from GUARD. 

  2. Payment Requirement

    ONCE YOU REQUEST TO BIND, THEY NEED TO RECEIVE THE PAYMENT WITH 5 DAYS TO KEEP THE POLICY IN FORCE

    PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU MAKE THE PREMIUM PAYMENT WITHIN 5 DAYS AFTER YOU REQUEST TO BIND ANY GUARD POLICY..

    OTHERWISE, THE GUARD POLICY WILL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE AND NO COVERAGE IS BOUND.
